What's new with Training Mask 2.0?
Training Mask 2.0 has been a work in progress for over 2 years. We have asked ourcustomers of Training Mask 1.0 to give us their feedback and what they would want to see in 2.0. With great feedback from test marketing and direct responses we have made Training Mask 2.0 smaller, lighter and more comfortable. Training Mask 2.0 gives the end user a redesigned look and feel along with the resistance levels that they desire

We have changed the look!
It started with the first version made from an Israeli civilian gas mask and has been completedly revamped and remolded into Training Mask 2.0. We have gotten away from the eye pieces, hardened straps, and overall gas mask look. With reconstruction of an entirely new mask mould, and neoprene that is stretched over the rubber resistance mask, and caps give Training Mask 2.0 a smooth, sleek look and comfortable feel.
Training Mask 2.0 is held on the face with a comfortable neoprene strap that over lays the air tight silicone piece that rests against the face. The neoprene strap is held onto the mask by 3 "Resistance caps". The resistance caps make for a nice snug fit against the neoprene and hold the neoprene in place acting as a "post" against the silicone that rests on your face.
Training Mask 2.0 is a less aggressive looking approach to working out while still getting the aggressive workout that one desires. With Training Mask 2.0 you do not have claustrophobia like feeling nor will you have to worry about vision problems while training. After extensive research and clinical testing from the UNIVERSITY OF NAIT the Training Mask 2.0 has made remarkable advancement in the fitness and training industry. Training Mask 2.0 takes all the amazing "Diaphragm Resistance Technology" from Training Mask 1.0 and compiles it into a less obtrusive, amazingly comfortable silicone mask that fits over the nose and mouth.

Our multi-level resistance system reduces air flow through our patent pending flux valve system. Training Mask 2.0 promotes increased lung capacity by forcing you to inhale fuller deeper breaths. When your body adapts to the resistance your lungs will be trained to take deeper breaths and use oxygen more efficiently. A short explanation of how this works is simple. When you breathe against resistance the lining in the lungs essentially stretches out allowing the alveoli’s surface area to become "stretched" thus in return allows for more blood flow to the alveoli for more (oxygen transportation). I have been running and taking walks with this in the morning and I find it to be very relaxing! The only problem I have is the size I might have gone a little to big with the medium since when I sweat it tends to slide a bit.. Totally my fault so make sure you get a size smaller than the usual bigger!

A few people at my gym, including me, use the 2.0 masks on occation and like them. The vents function well and as intended. My only complaints are due to fit. The mask will slip off your face during fast movements (jumping rope, etc) and sweat makes it really bad. The strap does not want to stay around my ears and tries to fall down to my neck. When inhaling very hard the mask can collapse inward.
So far so good

I've put myself to the test with this mask on my last two runs and bike rides. I noticed that once I found a steady stride and stuck to it, I got used to the more difficult breathing patterns this mask produces; however, once I pick up my speed, the mask really kicks in and makes my workouts much more difficult. This is a great investment if you want to improve your recovery rates.

I've been using my mask for a week now and love it! its great for running and you can instantly tell a difference when you take it off. In the gym it forces you to breathe properly

Think you're hardcore? Slip this bad boy on & you can make anything you do feel like a fight gone bad. Defines "embrace the suck". My only qualm with the mask is the exhaust; its restrictive exhalation vents result in face/mask interface resonance. Regardless, you too can channel Frank Booth from the David Lynch movie "Blue Velvet" lol.

I have just started using the mask during my workouts and it has worked extremely well. It has only been a week but I can already feel my 'wind' is improving.
The only issue I have with the mask is that velcro strap in the back slides down which causes strain on my ears. A relatively minor issue to an otherwise great product.

I used it during my regular leg workout today, I usually superset everything to keep my heart rate up, this mask takes supersets to another level! I havent even tried running with it yet and am very impressed, great product!
